Having a beautiful and nicely designed home is the dream of most people; homes are the biggest prerequisites to live a comfortable life. If you are one of those people who love traditional homes, there is something is store for you. Colin and Feile are two individuals in Skreen, County Sligo, Ireland. The two have built one of the prettiest houses ever. The house is made of straw bale, cob and natural edge wood, and the end result was much better than anticipated. Colin and Feile had attended a 10 day workshop which adhered to working with cob, which is not a very easy task. Cobs are commonly used to create homes in Ireland, because they are really sustainable and cheaper as compared to other materials. In case you are on a tight budget and wish for a beautiful and traditional house, then this is the perfect option for you. After attending the 10 day workshop, the two thought of using cob in the creation of their home, and slowly but surely the idea started becoming reality. The nicely finished interior and spacious surrounding make this mud and wood house absolutely picture perfect. It took time and required patience but the house turned out to be exemplary.
