This museum is definitely going to be loved those who appreciate art, and people from all across the globe are sure to witness its splendid beauty.
It comprises of two hyperrealistic installations, which make the sculptures appear to be lifelike. The artists’ second installation The Raft of Lampedusa is about the ongoing crisis in Syria, the sculptures show the pain and anticipation of the people in the boat waiting for help, medication as well as amenities.
“The work is not intended as a tribute or memorial to the many lives lost,” DeClaires explains, “but as a stark reminder of the collective responsibility of our now global community.” The museum, which will be free for access to diver and snorkeler from February 25th, is located off the Coast of Lanzarote Island.
