Artisan Dan Pauly has created Playful Tiny Homes that looks just like a home from a fairy tale. He is acclaimed as a fourth generation woodworking artisan, who renovates broken wood into diminutive cabins. Such a work of art has been highly appreciated as a great place for holidaying.
Inspired of a Tim Burton film, which depicts a quirky balance of playfulness and gothic culture, Dan created structures for sauna, outhouse, shed, or actual home. But behind his whimsical design is a significant history that needs to be explored too. Dan inherited this creativity from his great-grandfather, who emigrated from Switzerland to the US in the 1880s. He had started the artisanal craft of barn building. Two centuries have passed by since its inception and the family’s impressive trade has continued to mark their work of art.
He recalls the lumber that was used by his great-grandfather more than a century ago and respects all the craftsmen and craftswomen of those days who made a difference in the world of architecture designing.
You could also have the privilege to make your vacation memorable by visiting one of these structures or build one of your own on your lawn.
