Surreal Mahina House

Today we want to share with you the design of a beautiful relaxing vacation house, with gorgeous views that will give you the feeling you are in vacation, just by seeing the pictures. You probably have already seen houses that were designed starting from the moon shape and you will see that Mahina is also designed in relation to the moon. Not to speak that Mahina is the Maori word used for “Moon”. Inspired by the half-moon to create this house were the designers of Weber Consulting. The house is not built yet, but it will be located in New Zealand, at about 60 km north of Auckland, on Kawau Island. It is meant to be a luxury house of approximately 827 square feet that will include a swimming pool, a greenhouse, deck and for regulating internal temperatures for “thermal mass”. The windows will be from floor to ceiling and the interios design will be a modern one. A modern residence reminding of the glamorous times of parties with tuxedos and martinis.
