We have great news for both cat lovers and cats. Cats are adorable, mostly domesticated animals. We stated “mostly” domesticated because cats generally have independent characteristics. Moreover, if a cat wants to be domesticated, you can be successful. If not, we wish you good luck. But today we are here to share joyful news with you. Parallect Design, originally founded in the Netherlands but today located in Shanghai, China, designed a café called Cat House.
In order to create the cat house, the studio took over an old building. The building has three floors. The first floor is for café or restaurant activities. The second and third floors are especially for cats. Starting from the second floor, there are ladders, pathways, wooden boxes, and many more things for cats. The owners of the cat café are cats. Humans are the guests who should respect the owners. Although the guests should stay on the first floor, they are allowed to see the cats as well.
What is Inside of the Cat House?
The main material of the café or the cat house is European ash wood. This material reflects a soft-toned quality for every cat and person. The place aims to be comfortable and enjoyable for all. To make the place more than comfortable, Parallect Design set up a staircase that was easy to climb. Moreover, in order to prevent contamination, flip-flops and hand sanitizer are offered to the guests.
The management did not forget about the guests who would like to interact with cats. On the third floor, there is a place with fixed resting areas. In this area, cat-loving guests can interact with the cats. The cats may jump and move through the round holes carved out of the wooden block. If you have a chance, we suggest you take a look at this cat café.
