Ever wanted to confess in front of Jesus, we have always visited the church. But, never thought of transforming one to a family house. Well, you will be surprised to know that in Chicago Linc Thelen Design has already done this along with the help of Scrafano Architects. They have transformed a church into a beautifully constructed Modern Family House.
The family, which stays in the city of Illinois, also includes three young children. The house they reside in now, i.e., the church, consists of seven bedrooms and six baths. The ceiling height of the great room measures to an excessive length of 25 feet. While the walls of every room have been kept elegant white, the details of every room have some unique features. Some of the Linc custom designs are climbing the wall, interesting wallpapers and light fixtures and Murphy bed in the nursery.
This home has a bell tower, brickwork that is left exposed and ceiling turnbuckles along with the modern living conveniences. There are original stained glass windows that showcase historic details of the church, which gets more highlighted due to white surroundings. With classic furnishings, the house has been given finishes to create a trendy yet traditional vibe.
