Since everyone is fascinated lately with this trend of making your own clothes or growing your own vegetables in order for everything you consume to be bio, we thought you would love this organic method of painting your Easter eggs. This is definitely not a new method, for if you ask your grandmother, she will tell you it once was the only way of painting the Easter eggs. The advantage is that you will be able to create any pattern you like using different ingredients. You will need: eggs; small leaves and flowers; a lot of onion skins; a cloth or stockings or tights; scissors; rubber band; water; oil;
Directions: Put the onion skins into some water in a pot and boil them for almost 15 minutes. While waiting for the water to boil, clean the eggs and pick some leaves or flowers and place them on the cleaned eggs in the shape you want. Fixate the flowers by covering them with stockings or cloth and securing it with rubber band. When done, place the covered eggs into the boiling water for almost 10 minutes. When the eggs are cooked, take them out from the water, take the cloth and the flowers off, and enjoy your unique results.
