Hookie’s New Bike: The Cake ÖSA flex Orange ANT

Hookie Co. Gmbh founded in 2015 is a company converting motorcycles into sustainable ones. The company’s story started in 2012 as a garage activity. Nico, the company owner, converted a Yamaha XS650 and posted its pictures on a Tumblr blog. He called his first converted motorcycle “The Hookie”. After Yamaha the company converted a Honda 750, later followed by tens of different conversions. As of 2022, Hookie announced that the company converted Cake ÖSA motorcycle. On the company’s website, the management told that Cake ÖSA has everything the company looks for: motorcycle, design, sustainability, and speed.

A New Model: The Cake ÖSA flex “Orange” ANT

The e-bike is customed with Hookie accessories and is available for riding. The bike has stainless steel, 3.2mm thick, and 220mm diameter disc for brakes. The brake system has four-piston calipers. The e-bike can also go up to 30mph or 45 km / h with 3 different ride modes.

The electric drive system of the Cake ÖSA flex “Orange” ANT is 4kW of power. The torque of the motor axle is 42Nm while the torque of the wheel is 151Nm.

Lastly, you can charge the battery of the bike in 3 hours. However, if you are in hurry, in 2 hours, you can charge 80% of the battery.

The Cake ÖSA has a vibrant orange frame and swingarm which is seen as the best part of the bike. The bike is currently available on Hookie’s website. However, for the time being, shipping is only available in Germany. So, the ones who expect to buy the bike should organize the transport and inform the company accordingly.
