Multifunctional Furniture With Hidden Chairs and Tables

”As if from nowhere” is a project by Orly Reynolds. As you can see from the pictures, it is a modular multifunctional piece of furniture. It looks like a normal library with interior colorful contours but in fact, this trivial library ‘guards” chairs and tables, to pull out for use.

Modularity is the order of the day in the world of design. Just invest on furniture blocks, a single color, which remain the same over time. Playing with design is certainly a good way to give a new look to your home. Of course, in the case of increased space, changing the look is optional, but when you have a little girl playing in the house the modularity of the furniture is a real need.
Designer Orla Reynolds graduated from the Dublin Institute of Technology. She has developed the project ”As if from nowhere”. And just out of nowhere, Orla Reynolds has created a multifunctional furniture, perfect for environments populated by little ones.
Within the library, the clean and simple design, are hiding four chairs and two brightly colored tables, which also embellish the interior contours of it. Basically, if you suddenly get friends or relatives visiting and do not know where to place them, with the furniture ”As if from nowhere” you are saved, for it will work out in the blink of an eye. You’ll have at your disposal a small dining room set up on the fly.

This is not only a multifunctional furniture, but also a real reason to play, because of the colors that make the library more bubbly. ”As if from nowhere” is just one of many projects that Orla Reynolds has in the pipeline. In fact, the young designer has in mind to achieve a full line of modular furniture, designed just for small spaces but also suitable for the larger ones.

Orla Reynolds has made ” As if from nowhere” inspired by a real need, a way to respond to some problems related to domestic spaces safe for the little ones. She says she offers a solution that is only the first out of many others.
