Gardening is considered as an art and one will get to enjoy and appreciate the art form when they do it from the time they are little. For that reason schools need to incorporate gardening as one of the activities that children practice in school as is shown in the school featured here. The school that is featured here is Waldorf School of Cape Cod which has a gardening program designed for the children and it can act as a source of inspiration for other schools across the world. The school has built a hoop house that is about 24 into 48 feet in dimension. The children work with grownups in this garden house and plant vegetable plants like spinach, kale and carrot besides other plants and learn how to harvest them at the right time. The benefit is that they learn to produce their own set of green vegetables and understand the process of how a vegetable plant moves from a seed to become a full grown and edible plant that can be eaten. You will surely love and be inspired by what you see here and it might help you to start a similar project.
