Partially sharing the name and structure with the iconic NESTREST hanging lounger from DEDON, Swingrest is making it’s own class. It’s a design by Daniel Pouzet, and it is the first product that emerged from Dedon Island resort. This Swingrest has been inspired by the extra-high ceilings of the villas in the resort. In comparison to the Nestrest, although it borrows the basket-like bottom from it, the Swingrest offers more space, fitting more people at once, while occupying less space. It has a concept that is pure and simple, allowing you yo hang it in the veranda or the terrace, and if you like you can even hang it or set it on the ground indoors. Instead of a complicated detail in the design, Pouzet concentrated on making the tabletop rotate 180°, it’s suspension system, and also on the cord that is meant to wrap around the tubing.
