Who said that well maintained, elegant, spacious houses are a big burn on the pocket? If any person is saying this, just push forward this article to them. Some architecture students of Auburn’s University have designed the plan for low income houses that are both elegant and spacious that too under $20K. Isn’t that amazing?

The students at the Rural Studio of Auburn’s University worked on the project called the 20K project to provide affordable houses for lower incomes. The undergraduate program is actually based on the facet of social justice and independence. They have come up with this framework for the poor rural people being able to live in moderate conditions. These houses are built on the foundation of highly experienced technicians and engineers. The houses have one bedroom, one living room, one bathroom and one balcony of about 500 square feet in area. Presently, there are only two houses build on this project at New Urban Village of Serenbe, Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia. They envisage growing this project on a large upfront and built these kinds of houses in mass.  If the project is successful, it will help grow the poor rural people and their living conditions.
