Now that you’ve installed your wood-burning fireplace, the next thing is to find a place to hide those logs. The creative team at Ak47 Design have a solution that is both modern in aesthetics and functional in design. Their firewood holders collection doubles as a swank set of furniture that makes for both comfortable, cool seating and a smart storage spot. Of course the logs should be hand selected before brought indoors for the best visual effect, but the design is a breath of fresh air to the repetitive scene we’ve been used to. We can only imagine laying down on the “couch” in front of the fireplace, with a glass of single malt whisky and a good book. Priceless! [via Contemporist designcrave]
