DIY Inground Trampoline

What if you could transform your little garden into something else, what would that be? Well, I sure wouldn’t trade all of mine for anything, but I can at least do without a little bit of it. As nature lovers, our little gardens are the best place for us to sit and talk with nature, have that quiet moment that the noisy world seems to deny us. But the garden can afford much more than that. What if you could make a little playground out of it, not only for the kids but one you’ll enjoy spending time on? We found the best way for you to do this yourself, and it would cost you less amount compared to enlisting the services of ‘professionals’ to do it for you.

Well, if you don’t have a garden, don’t think you’ll be left out of this project. You can do this project in your backyard, and the kids would be glad you did. In fact, Brooke and her hubby who brought out this project made theirs in their backyard. So, if you don’t have a garden, there’s nothing to worry about.

There are lots of things you try with your garden, but the best thing that will ever happen to your garden that will thrill your kids will probably be an Inground Trampoline built in a cool spot with your garden. I thought to make this will be an impossible task without the help of professionals, but Brooke from All Things Thrifty blog surprised us. Her handy hubby completed the construction of a Trampoline located right on the ground in their backyard without any help from ‘professionals.’ The construction is rather impressive, and it’s something I believe every do-it-yourselfer out there should try.

But before you rush down there, let me be the first to give you a warning. The construction is quite complicated and a bit off the rails with what we’ve been doing here, but not impossible. Remember, her hubby did it. If you have a little building skill, then you’re good to go. If you are not sure of your ability, take a look and if you think you can’t do it, gently back off — better not start something you can’t finish.

What you need: Shovel, Hammer, Drill, Wood, Metal

Do let us know if you can do it or not and of any problem you encountered while at it.
