When we look at the visuals, we see a small wooden structure floating on the blue waters. This Floating Sauna structure was created for an interesting use. Designed by Swedish studio Sandellsandberg, it was inspired by drifting against the changing backdrop of the Stockholm archipelago.
The team built the Big Branzino on the hull of a steel catamaran. At the center of Big Branzino is a glazed sauna room. The designers used a unique arc-shaped roof style to cover the floating sauna room. The stove placed in the center of this small floating sauna, which also has a shower and bathroom, adds an authentic atmosphere to the environment due to its wooden appearance and sea air.
The design allows users to travel at speeds of around (maximum) five miles per hour. Big Branzino offers a blissful freedom in nature, integrated with it.
In an interview with dezeen, the design team said the following about the floating sauna: “The client, a creative person from the Stockholm tech scene, had a dream about creating a truly extraordinary floating sauna experience, something elegant and refined, yet unexpected,” Sandellsandberg architect Johan Strandlund.
This floating sauna, which is different in both style and purpose, has attracted a lot of attention.
