This kind of a vehicle will surely give thriller and action movies fans something to look forward to, the hope of seeing a futuristic vehicle and owning maybe three vehicles, a car and two bikes at the price of one. For those who have not yet seen the images of the concept car created by Mark Wilson, they might not believe that this kind of a car is in production. However, Fast Company is putting the design concept into reality, the main idea being an electric vehicle that splits into two bikes.
The design is being made into reality by putting together two bike segments which are attached at the bottom by attachments that can be released when a button is pressed. The front wheels stay close to the vehicle when it functions as a single car. The sides split up into motorcycles with the front wheels extending out. The wheels are designed to tilt sideways as well. The bikes have sporty designs. The inspiration behind the design of this vehicle is the Batman Tumbler which was worked on by Syd Mead. Mark then took the concept of lane splitter concept car transforms into two motorbikes to be showcased at the New York Auto Show.car
